These books are all non-fiction, but most of them are for older kids in middle school and high school. Not for younger readers!
The Everything Store, by Brad Stone,
This book is a biography of Jeff Bezos and how he founded Amazon. It talks about both Bezos’ personal life, and him as a businessman. I found it very interesting to see how a company we use daily was made. I really enjoyed this book.
Elon Musk, by Ashlee Vance,
This book is a biography of Elon Musk (obviously). It talks about him growing up in South Africa and how he grows to help found PayPal, Tesla, SolarCity, and SpaceX. Although it was informative, I found this book to be kind of boring. This book was good but I did not love it.

FDR, by Jean Edward Smith,
This book is a biography of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. It shows his journey from being a Colombia law student to one of the greatest presidents in our history. It goes deep into his personal life and shows how he overcame polio, while also talking about his presidential career. Although there are parts of this book that can be boring to read, I think it is a great book.
The Many Lives of Michael Bloomberg, by Elanor Randolph,
This is a biography of Mike Bloomberg and his many careers. The book is split into four parts. The first about his childhood and how he started his company, the second about his time as mayor, third about his philanthropy, and fourth about his 2020 presidential campaign. This book is well written and is a great read.
